With the Tokyo Olympics getting closer, I thought it would be great to get a real insight into what it's like being at the Olympics.
What a way to start off with our first guest, endurance cyclist, Pat Jonker.
Pat is a two-time Olympian (1992 and 1996) and winner of the Tour Down Under (2004).
Pat didn't hold back when asked about former team mate Lance Armstrong and his win at all costs attitude.
We also spoke about the build up to the Olympics and what training was involved, how the crowd inspires athletes and Pat's thoughts on Tokyo 2021.

Lest we forget and thankyou so much to all of those inspirational people that have served/serving our country!
It was fantastic to chat with Miles Bergman this week, one of the young guns from the Port Adelaide Football Club.
His response to my question about the feeling of being drafted at no.14 in the 2019 national draft was fascinating.
We also spoke about what it was like to make his AFL debut in round one this year after being emergency seven times in 2020 and shared some great laughs about the pranksters and funny team mates at the club, being average at golf and our common dislike in doing dishes.
Thanks so much to Miles for his time, Loukas Founten for arranging the chat and Jeff Richardson for a great job of filming and editing the video.

With the 2021 Tokyo Olympics less than 100 days away it was fantastic to chat to one of our star athletes, Jane Claxton from the Hockeyroos and ambassador for Utonic.
We spoke about Jane's passion for hockey and what it was like to represent her country in the Olympics, Commonwealth Games and World Cups.
Jane discussed the training that is involved with being a professional hockey player and how they have prepared for the Olympics after it being postponed due to the pandemic.
We also have a great laugh as Jane talks about some of the funny moments during her hockey career so far and I ask Jane the three famous people that she would love to have dinner with.
Thanks so much to Jane for her time, to Michael and Mads from Utonic for arranging the interview and Rory Noke from PodBooth for putting this awesome video together.
Finally thankyou to our partners, Anytime Fitness, Tiger Tennis, Renelec Electrical Services and SMS Gas Installations.

The Leconfield Wines McLaren Vale Marathon is a fantastic event that is happening on the 10th and 11th of April 2021.
It was a thrill to get Matt Evans and Roger Rasheed on Legends with Bevo to talk about the event.
Matt is the Race Director of Great Southern Runs and Roger is the Founder of the Roger Rasheed Sports Foundation, an expert tennis commentator and has coached some of the greats in tennis.
We also spoke about Roger's foundation, involvement in partnering with the event and an exciting sports facility at Christies Downs that Roger's foundation is involved with plus much more.
Matt discussed what to look forward to at the event, his passion for running and the significance of events like this one in the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Thanks so much to Jeff Smith from Creative Consulting who arranged the interview with the guys, to Matt and Roger for their time and Rory Noke from PodBooth.

It was a huge buzz chatting recently on Legends with Bevo to SA Metropolitan Fire Service and SA Country Fire Service volunteer, Declan Dwyer.
Declan gave an enthralling yet at times confronting rundown of the experience of being in the fire brigade and what it was like to be on the frontline for the Cudlee Creek and Kangaroo Island fires in 2019/2020 and the recent Cherry Gardens and Bolivar fires as well.
He also praised the amazing work of the CFS in all of the major fires and why he loves to volunteer with them.
We also discussed Declan's other love which is being a rally car driver and how he's involved in promoting the Road Awareness Program (RAP) which is all about encouraging teenage drivers to race on the race track and not on the roads.
Thanks so much to Nicole Ely from the MFS for teeing up the chat, Declan for his time and Rory Noke from PodBooth for putting this awesome video together.
Finally thanks to our partners, Kookaburra Homes, Renelec Electrical Services, Anytime Fitness, Tiger Tennis and SMS Gas Installations.

'Lights have come flying down on me and people pulling their pants down behind me’, Jess Braithwaite has seen it all whilst doing live crosses for her job as the 9 News Adelaide Weather Presenter.
It was great fun and a real pleasure to chat with the Mount Gambier girl who now calls Adelaide home.
As I found out in our chat, Jess is a very down to earth girl and loves wearing trackies, drinking wine and singing songs by the campfire. Jess is also a very talented musician and has performed at music festivals like the Big Day Out with her brother and their band Gemini Downs and has recently written and performed her debut single last year, ‘Feel this Way’.
We also spoke about how Jess is balancing being a young Mum with two kids with her busy lifestyle, some funny moments throughout her career in media and her involvement as an ambassador with 'Save the Children'.
Thanks so much to Jess for her time and sharing some great stories and to Rory Noke from PodBooth for teeing up the chat with Jess and a great job of putting the video together.

Warning, this episode discusses mental health and suicide, if you or someone you know are struggling then please call Lifeline on 13 11 14.
Former Police Officer Matt Newlands has one heck of a story, after doing what he thought was his dream job things turned pear shaped. Matt went down a very dark path which resulted in him getting fired from his job.
Thankfully Matt has turned his life around with support of his friends and family and is now doing wonderful things as a mental health advocate and motivational speaker.
It was tough at times to hear what Matt has been through but I still really enjoyed chatting to him on Legends with Bevo.
Thanks to Matt for his time and for being so open and honest and Rory Noke from PodBooth for a great job of filming and editing the video.
Finally thanks to our sponsors, Kookaburra Homes, Anytime Fitness Glenelg and Renelec Electrical Services.

What a huge buzz it was to interview Kel Balnaves and Amy Hetherington for Legends with Bevo this week.
Kel's show Useful was announced this week as the best comedy show at this year's Adelaide Fringe and Amy's show Don't Feed the Ducks is also going swimmingly.
We had some great banter with them both as they know each other well and it was great to hear about their individual journeys and passion for comedy.
I highly recommend checking them out at this year's Fringe and there's no doubt that they have a bright future in comedy.
See below to find out more about their shows and ticket sales.

Whilst it's been a fascinating A-League season so far, not having former Fox Sports Australia legendary commentator Simon Hill behind the mic has been rather odd.
It was great to get Simon on Legends with Bevo to find out more about what has happened and how he's been keeping busy in the meantime including his new podcast, Shim, Spider and Moore.
Simon also gave his thoughts on the A-League season so far, favourite commentary memories and funny stories, his passion for heavy metal music and why he's very happy being a Manchester City supporter at the moment.
Thanks so much to Simon for his time, to Ben Dale for helping to tee up the chat and to Rory Noke from PodBooth for a great job of putting the video together.

There was seriously good banter when I recently interviewed professional runners and founders of RunAsOne, Izzi Batt-Doyle and Riley Cocks.
Izzi and Riley have been dating for a few years, so it was really interesting to hear them dish the dirt on each other and find out about their early days when they first met.
We also spoke about whether or not the Tokyo Olympics should go ahead this year and the potential risks that could come with it, their individual careers and passion for running, and their new very popular business RunAsOne.
Thanks so much to Izzi and Riley for their time, to our mutual friend Coralie Duckworth for helping tee up the chat and to Rory Noke from PodBooth for a great job of filming and editing the video.
Finally thankyou to our sponsors Kookaburra Homes, Renelec Electrical Services and Anytime Fitness.
